A dark, cramped Edwardian kitchen transformed into a stunning open-plan family space.

Challenge

The original kitchen was small, dark, and isolated from the rest of the house. The family wanted an open-plan space for cooking and entertaining.

Solution

We removed internal walls, installed a steel beam, and added a rear extension with bi-fold doors. The result is a light-filled, open-plan kitchen-diner with island.
